Wiese
said. "It's a tool that teaches
everybody how to work together."
From a modest house to an overhauled hospital, the distinctive
history of the settings of KU School of Medicine-Wichita continues
to demonstrate what can be accomplished by working together.

An informal clinical trials group begins with members including
Sheldon Preskorn, M.D., professor in Psychiatry at KUSM-W and
chief of psychiatry at what is now the Robert J. Dole VA Medical
Center, and two WSU chemistry professors. Trials take place at
KUSM-W and what is now the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center.
